installing windows xp on two computers

will microsoft allow me to install a coppy of windows xp on both my laptop and my desktop? or do i need a diferant verson for each of my computers?

The fine isn't $250,000.00 US$ per occurrence but $250,000,00 US$ Per Occurrence for the first offence. If you have been caught previously it's bigger and quite rightly so.

I'm with you. Personally, I think they should apply the "3 strikes and you're out" rule. First offence, $250,000.00USD per occurrence. Second offence, $1,000,000.00USD per occurrence. Third offence, they cut off your hands so you can never insert another CD/DVD into a drive (let alone type). Then the medical community could join in and refuse to make prosthesises for people convicted of software piracy!
