ISP static Ip to networked pc through 3com router

By ian ·
I have 5 static IP addresses supplied through by ISP, this goes to my 3com router when I type it in to a web browser. But I want it to point to a desktop computer on my company network behind the router.

I would like any advice on how to set this up.

Many thanks in advance.

Open the Routers Manual and look up the Routers

HTTP Address. Then open a Web Browser and type in the Routers IP Address and enter the Routers User Name & Password at the Log in Screen.

Then proceed to setup the Router to whichever Static IP address that you wish it to access and finish the setup procedure save the setting and log off. This will point the Router to the Static IP Address that you are using but retain your internal IP Addresses without affecting your Network if you setup the router correctly.

It would also be a good idea to look up the Routers Makers Web Site and download any new Firmware Update that is available and install that before starting the setup procedure.
