It's all over but the "crying"

By PurpleSkys ·
Well here it is mid April and I'm all done...there's no more assignments to hand in, there are no more tests to write, and no more oral presentations/reports to be given. Starting next Monday, I begin my workterm at a local dentist's office for five weeks, if I successfully complete that, I will finally be graduated!

It's been a tough year, mentally and financially here, but I couldn't have asked for better moral support than what I received from all my friends and family and the good folks here at TR that have been supportive as well....Thank you :) And a special humble thank you to my husband, Darryl, who has had to listen to the cranky, snooty lady that kicks around here trying to finish off the last of her work, and use him as my "F1" button quite frequently, I couldn't have gotten this far without his love and support.

As soon as my instructors are done putting our final marks together, I will inform anyone who would like to know.

Thanks everyone! :)

with your beauty, personality, knowledge, and soon, experience, how can you not be successful?

Of course, you know what hard work will get you? More hard work!

Is that the crying part? :)

although I do have to admit, you're terribly good for my ego . I'm figuring that after spending 17 yrs as a floor worker in a factory and over two years as a restuarant worker, I'm actually looking forward to being a sit on my butt kinda job for a while

Computerized Accounting I 96
Communications-Workplace Apps 78
Document Processing II 93
Database I 88
Organizational Behaviour 81
Office Procedures II 88

No mark yet on Professional Development as I am doing my work term now and will not be assessed on it until the end of May. I'm not 100% content with a couple of them, but Darryl is all over it (of course) ! But yes, I'm still very proud that at the age of 43 I will be graduating from college !

I do admit to not being very good at business communications. I don't do presentations well and sometimes my writing is not all that great either. Darryl did help me with some stuff though and did give me a bit of a kick in the butt...suppose I will have to do some "detention"
