It's all over but the "crying"

By PurpleSkys ·
Well here it is mid April and I'm all done...there's no more assignments to hand in, there are no more tests to write, and no more oral presentations/reports to be given. Starting next Monday, I begin my workterm at a local dentist's office for five weeks, if I successfully complete that, I will finally be graduated!

It's been a tough year, mentally and financially here, but I couldn't have asked for better moral support than what I received from all my friends and family and the good folks here at TR that have been supportive as well....Thank you :) And a special humble thank you to my husband, Darryl, who has had to listen to the cranky, snooty lady that kicks around here trying to finish off the last of her work, and use him as my "F1" button quite frequently, I couldn't have gotten this far without his love and support.

As soon as my instructors are done putting our final marks together, I will inform anyone who would like to know.

Thanks everyone! :)

Soon as I'm rich, I'll need someone to superintend my offline and online accounting. But, you have to be a whiz. I don't have the time to teach you.

Meantime, take what you do know with a grain of salt -- like a law degree -- and run for office.

You quibble about my Enterprise procedures?

The other part, the part about getting behind things with insider knowledge -- which she has done: that stands.

What doesn't stand is the space I neglected to put between, WHAT, and the exclamation point, a point that no doubt Purple was ready to pounce upon before I corrected it. No matter what anyone says, I now have to watch my step. I have to guess that she KNOWS. If she doesn't, she ought.

Had I taken those courses

by NickNielsen In reply to lol

I would probably have done fairly well on the technical, but Org Behavior and Office Procedures (filing? ) would probably kick my butt. Just not interested

OB and OP

by PurpleSkys In reply to Had I taken those courses

I loved the technical part of it all, if there had been more technical stuff, I would have had way more fun ! As for OB, I could burn the book on that I disliked it so much; too much theory for me. OP wasn't just filing, there was proper phone etiquette, itineraies, travel bookings, and a bunch of other stuff that one would never really think of but is relevant to being an office admin.
