I just used this method the other day to remove a busted VGA pin from a port.
Find a thin paper clip. Straighten it out. Get a good pair of wire cutters. You will want to cut the wire at the highest angle you can. Normally you cut the wire at about a 90 degree angle. Try to get it down to about 15-20 degrees. Cut the wire near the tip so you have more wire to hold. The resulting wire should have a point and be VERY sharp (BE CAREFUL). Usually it looks like a serated edge along the "angle" surface. Use it to stab into the pin which are usually hollow. The tip and rough edge gives you some purchase onto the pin. Drag the pin out!
