I have a computer I bought from a corporate upgrade. It is running Win95 and it was networked, so there is a password set. How can I get past this so I have a usuable computer? Here is what I have tried. I booted up to a command prompt and went intothe windows directory and deleted the pwl files that where created when the password was set, that did not work. Also I tried f8 safe mode, the problem is what do I do when I am in safe mode.995

There are two methods, which i have done past four months ago and i have now some idea of it.First go to my computer>control panel>network>remove microsoft family logon/Client for microsoft networks
but be sure that you dont have any network
and
your isp would work in absence of these components
2.search profile directory and take a backup of this directory or copy it into my documents and restart your computer and if you didnt see password prompt you wont get the problem again
