Lose Internet Connection

By TD88888 ·
This was talked about extensively last year (posed by Dragon Emperor i think) with no resolution. Just wondering if there are any new ideas. I have 2 computers "Laptop" and "Desktop" both connect to broadband wirelessly. After a random amount of time both computers lose internet access...not at the same time. The only way to get it back is to restart the computer. There is broadband phone wired directly to the router, that never loses its connection. If one or both computers can't access internet, they can still share files between. Laptop can print to a printer on desktop. Ping only finds the router during internet loss, not other computers on network or internet. NSLOOKUP can find servers (, etc.) Tried resetting ARP, didn't work. Tried ipconfig release and renew, didn't work. My router logs ip address requests, doesn't log a request from computer that is down. Any ideas?
