Easy answer is NO you can not

by OH Smeg In reply to MAC OS

MAC OS X is a propriety system that is only made for Apple products it is not a general purpose OS available for all computer hardware.

While OS X is based on BSD it is not BSD it is a development of BSD especially for Apple products. If you want to run OS X you need a Supported Apple Product.

You can however run Free BSD or any other form of BSD for a similar OS type to Apples OS X.

BSD is the base OS used to make OS X

It's similar to something like Linux/Unix and is a development of Unix but in a different direction to Linux.

You can get a copy of Free BSD here

Unfortunately, I seriously have to disagree (respectfully). In all do reality, Yes you can install MAC's Leopard on a PC. This does include Intel chip sets and AMD chip sets, But this is only point of proof. I will not discuss how its done, or where to get the software.... but it can be done.
