Microsoft Money Trouble!

Hi, you may be logging your students on automatically, but once on they MUST be running under an account. It's possible (I've seen something similar with several office products) that when it was installed there was a misconfig of either file or registry security. To start with, open a cmd prompt and type

set u

This will let you know the username that the login is using. Next, either in control panel or via right clicking on the my computer icon and selecting manage, locate the local users and groups module. You need to check whether or not the user that the login is running under is a member of the administrators group. If it isn't, you need to locate the administrator password - this will have been set by whoever installed the operating system - and log in as the administrator (press ctrl alt delete, select logoff and immediately hold down the shift key - this should bypass the autologin if one is set). If, having done that, you find that money works okay as admin then registry or file settings are the issue. If so, I have a method of fixing it. Reject this and let me know the outcomeof the above.
