Multiple drive mapping

By mmbc_voltron ·
I am having problems with a NT Workstation. Its seem to be mapping multiple drive letters for the same folder

Ex: you boot up the computer, Login, and your mapped drives are all set.
you work for awhile and you notice that you have an E F G mapped to the same folder as you Z drive

i have deleted find fast
and i have at least 3 doc that could be the culprit

please let me know of any info you might have on multiple drive mapping

If you are using AutoEDMS Document Management software for document management, this could happen. Also, if the file was created with such a system.

If you are using Novell. Right Click the N along the Task Tray and choose "Novell Client Properties" then choose the "Client" tab. Under "First Network Drive" check to see if you your login script is using this letter. I don't know if your are usingMicrosoft.

You might want to try a LASTDRIVE= statement in your config.sys

When you open the files in question on another PC do you get the same results? Comment back & let us know.

Yes I think If someone else on NT WS opens it they get the same result.
I have recreated the document and still has something to do with that.
