We have negotiated with the Federal Ministry of Finance that your payment totaling $6,100,000.00 be released to you via a custom pin based ATM card with a maximum withdrawal limit of $5,000 a day which is powered by Visa Card and can be used anywhere in the world were you see a Visa Card Logo on the Automatic Teller Machine (ATM). We have advised that this should be the only way at which you are to receive your payment because it is more guaranteed, since over $5 billion was lost on fake check year two (2) 2008.

So, it appears that I am now both $10.6 million and £17 million richer.

Guess I can buy another bottle of Scotch, now. B-)

Sophistication

by GSG In reply to My lucky day

Come on scammers, if you're going to go to all of the trouble to try to make this sound official, use the proper grammer, spelling, and punctuation.

Let's bring this up to a new level of sophistication, and maybe you'll get some more takers.

Why waste money improving the product?

They already get more than enough takers from the unsophisticated.

Go for it

I saw a similar email in my junkmail a few months back, good thing I check junk mail for false positives!

I quickly sent a copy to the Glenmorangie and Glenfiddich distilleries in Scotland, requesting they save all the 50 year old single malt for me until I get my bank deposit confirmed. CAN'T WAIT!!!!

(It's gonna happen....right?)
