Need your help (ugly webpage and PDF)

By rstan251 ·
Help!

I am trying to put together a career training program with some free information.

I feel like I am operating in a silo here...

My wife has no idea how to help me because she is not technical and I am unsure if this report is worth a damn.

Would you mind looking at this and providing me with some feedback?

FYI - this is not a website but a landing page.

Let me know what it is missing or what you liked or didn't like. The page links to a PDF which you can see by hovering your mouse (its not dangerous!):

Regards,

Robert.

There has been some constructive feedback.

It may not have been what you wanted to hear, or put the way you expected. But it's here.

I can handle constructive feedback.

It is apparent that I have not presented enough information to actually receive what I am expecting.

I need head back to the drawing board and return with v 2.0.

That sounds like a plan.... < nt >

Needs salt, far as I can tell.

Let us know when 2.0 is ready.

In the meantime, look around and find some web sites you think convey the tone and emphasis you'd like to emulate. Notice the fonts, graphics, phrasing, etc. MS offers some canned web site templates you can download; examine some of those.

If your primary emphasis right now is on the content in the .PDF, why not post that here, or as the direct target of your link here? How long is it? As someone else noted, we're a bit of a suspicious lot here. We also rarely respond to peer mails from new members until we've gotten comfortable with you. Also, taking at topic off-line in a peer mail deprives other readers of the entire conversation.
