Not able to run .bin / .cue from VLC player

By rajesh.chilagani ·
I had .bin extension video file which is not running under VLC Player.
Error shows as
"No suitable decoder module:
VLC does not support the audio or video format "mlp ". Unfortunately there is no way for you to fix this"

Any suggestion how can the data can read from the .bin /.cue extension files.

some sort of...

or, you can get a burning program and burn the bin/cue to a cd itself

VLC and bin/cue

by tomlee In reply to Thanks

Easiest way to play: Either delete the cue file, or simply change its extension to something else (like .cuex). Current builds of VLC seem to be misinterpreting cue information, so the best choice is simply to get it out of the way.

This method saves you the hassle of having to burn the image in order to watch a video.

Sorry - but that's not a particularly smart idea ...

There's a little small file (in this case a CUE file) and one individual program seems to be "misinterpreting" so LET'S JUST DELETE IT.

Nah, by all means rename the extension, but DO NOT delete it.

Any point in the future that you fancy burning it to disc, you have to find the exact same download (which ain't easy) or find another source and run the entire download again.
