Odd Computer Dreams

By Roger99a ·
I just woke up from the oddest dream. My wife and I were discussing where to put the computer for our cats. The cats were asking for an extra internet connection for when they work on other cat's computers. This is stupid on so many levels: first of all, between my wife and I (she's a geek queen) we have 10 computers in the house for two people. The cats could use one of the existing computers if they wanted. Second of all, where are they going to find work? They never leave the house and don't even know any other cats? They can't use a screwdriver since they have no thumbs, and they type by walking on the keyboard! Anyway, tech specs on the computer: it was a Via Epia C3 1ghz system with 256mb RAM mounted in a nice cherrywood humidor type box about 8 inches square. Looked real good in the living room.

Perhaps if you learned German you would understand it better. Mine was a Russian Blue, all it did was drink Vodka and ***** at people trying to work all day.

Dream interpretation

by Aldanatech In reply to Odd Computer Dreams

I don't know that much about dreams, but I do know they often cannot be interpreted literally and they often mean that your sub-conscience is trying to tell you something. Maybe the dream has something to do with your workplace and the cats could be a representation of you co-workers. Who knows, if you can figure it out you might be able to either prevent something or come up with an innovating idea or solution.

It probably has more to do with my homw life than my work life. My wife is a computer tech, too, and she is always putting some junk parts together for someone. It was probably just the cat's turn. I sometimes have dreams about my ex-wife, but it's much too late to warn me about that.

The computer dream

by Oz_Media In reply to Odd Computer Dreams

Waking up at my desk in a busy office one day I was instantly horrified for a few seconds, then I realized I'd just knocked the liquid paper over onto my keyboard while napping.

by Hockeyist In reply to The computer dream help certain types of people with the transition to computers. How about a programme that gives you a virtual bottle of liquid paper to use from the desktop.....Just did a Google on it and found that someone already thought of the idea.
It opens up a lot of other virtual possibilities such as virtual paper clips, virtual staplers, virtual coffee. What else could we virtualize?
