Pastel Accounting

By ssumahh ·
My count was down because of a corrupt file,After rtying all I could I finally replaced the folder config manually by copying from one hard drive. This has de-activated my office application and Pastel Accounting.Unfortunately the disk for pastel accounting 's serial number cannot be located for reinstallation. Will system restore resolve the problem, for I fear that it could render the application invalid.

No System Restore will not help you here

You really need the installation CD for that program as it leaves hooks into Windows which simply are not there when you just copy the application folder across.

Have you tried creating a new User Account on the original HDD and see if that works with everything that you need? That just might cure your original problem.

If not you are going to need the install CD and reinstall the Accounting Package and then use the existing copy to overwrite the new Folder if there is data stored locally on that HDD. If the data is stored remotely there should be no problem.

BTW what was the original problem it may be easily fixable?
