WHOO-HOO!!!!!

Believe it or not, I am going for the 3-peat in 2008. Don't know what it will do to the wedding thing but figure I'll figure it out.

I can't do this without you all- supporting, cheering, caring. You all make a difference and allow me to do great things. With you, I can change the world. Without you all, I am nothing.

Thank you so much for doing this with me again. The blisters are gone, my tan is fading, my hair will never be the same again... but oh well. At least it is sun-bleached and not grey (that you can see, I admit nothing!).

Enjoy the pics. If you emailed me an address to receive your ribbon in tennis shoes- the one that walked with me- please re-send it. I spent last weekend re-building my computer and lost everything as it crashed before I could back up email. Silly me- I thought I had my email backed up by my provider. I was wrong. Well SMEG!

Once again, this was a ride. I am still trying to sort it all out in my brain. Hopefully I will get there before next month when it all begins again.

My goal for 2008 is to raise $10,000. Wish me luck with all that! I will post my new website when I build it- late next month, most likely.

This site has proven that we can make a difference when we work together for a common goal. Thank you for letting me see that the most cynical of viewpoints are backed by the greatest hearts!

Good point. Too true.

by OnTheRopes In reply to I have always said there ...

I created a backup image a week early after reading your post. Probably going to go to a weekly schedule instead of a monthly schedule here at home. Can't hurt anything.

You done good
by OnTheRopes In reply to Pink Ribbon Pictures

Hopefully next year... :0
You know what I'm talking about.
I haven't forgotten your request. I'm trying to make the penultimate walking ribbon with shoes for your threepeat. My first effort was pretty slow and pretty fast. Call it half-fast.
I'm just looking for the right pair of shoes to use. I have an excellent ribbon. If you don't want to use it all when I'm done with it I'll probably be using it next year. I should have something for ya' soon. I'm real busy doncha'kno? :^0 :)
Good job Tigger. I'm glad to know people like you and Mike.

Count on this

by Tig2 In reply to You done good :D
I WILL use it!

I have to retire the shoelace as I have used it for a year and will start confusing things if I use the same ribbon more that a year. I have been looking for the right thing but a "Walking ribbon" would be just perfect. I have a pin that is a ribbon in shoes but could never figure out how to animate it.

Shoes. Hmm. I wear New Balance 1122. Don't know if that helps.

Let me know if you need any graphics stuff from me.

And thanks. Just thanks.

Dang pollen

by gadgetgirl In reply to Pink Ribbon Pictures

Tig, dear, will you PLEASE stop wafting that dang pollen over every darn photo?

By the time I got to the last one of you and Mike, there were a lot of ....well, you know.

Whatever you may think you looked like at the end of that, you didn't - you looked absolutely wonderful.

Thanks for doing the walk that some of us no longer can, and for getting us 60 miles-worth of steps nearer a cure.

You, more than most, know how close this is to my heart.

Thanks again.

GG

PS: dang pollen all over this thread, too.....
