Private Message - New 'pull down' list of members

Would it be asking too much to put this list of members in alphabetical order, instead of the apparently random sequence they're in now? It makes it difficult for us old timers who have more than three or four contacts to find the one we want to reach. Some of us are so old that by the time we find the name we want, we've forgotten what we wanted to tell them.

Secondary and less likely, is there any chance of enabling multiple recipients?

The information in My Stuff was there before

by NickNielsen In reply to Go Offline

It was that little sidebar at the right of your Workspace titled "My Recent Discussions" or "My Recent Questions" or some such. The change appears to have been to strip all useful information from the old Workspace and substitute the information from there. I don't know why. I think I clicked on one of those links maybe once or twice a year.

Somebody apparently decided it was more important that we see what we have posted rather than how others responded to it.

It's like the China Daily; a personalized listing of the dirt the government has on each and everyone... with the option to pay, so to see the dirt on others, too...
Is it the old "crippled functionality" business model?

It's the "New and Improved" business model, and begs at least one question:

What's been improved?

at least it was CBS rather than Jana what took control of CNET. I'm still not sure that anyone has an idea on properly modernizing or monetizing the thing. I'm not enamoured of what has been done with any of the sites. Although ZDNet I gave up for lost, forum-wise, long ago, I would have given up when the forum itself changed. They made some good improvements, then killed it by changing the discussion format to a comment format - like the awful Q&A design here.

And now I'll probably discuss this very little for a couple more weeks and see what shakes out. A little peep from the PTB would be nice now and then, though.
