Proxy 2.0 - Time spent on Internet

By joeblow1524 ·
Is there a way I can monitor the amount of time a user spends on the Internet? I am using Microsoft Proxy Server 2.0 and I am the network administrator. I can't seem to find a tool for this. Please respond.

Yes... In Internet Service Manager, there is a section called Current Sessions. Here you can watch anyone currently going throught the Proxy, where they are going and how long they have been there. I am not 100% sure where it is in ISM, but have used it. Also, Microsoft says it may not be 100% accurate because of network lag... Users may still show up as being connected, when they really are not.

I can email you from home where I have all my info.

make sure you are logging on the proxy server.. we use a program called Webspy (www.webspy.com).. it wont give you the EXACT time a user spends on the web, but it'll give you a good idea of how many sites a user hits per day, and the timeframe.
