resolutions

By Oz_Media ·
okay well I don't wait for New years to set myself straight with those nagging things we never get around to, so I started my resolutions today. No I didn't quit smoking...one of these days..but I did start to exercise more.

When I went out for a smoke, I decided to go to the top floor (28th)and all the way back down , twice (while mindlessly chatting with a girl from Universal Records).

Then I remembered I had to press the button for MY floor and I went back up, but only half way up(and I was neither up nor down, badumdum)as I was getting tired at that point.

So, what are YOU gonna do for self improvement in 2006?

What I am giving up

by jdclyde In reply to resolutions

is self-denial.

I think I will be able to keep this resolution all year! Woo Woo!

Oh yeah, drop twenty pounds too. That should be me back into a 32 inch waistline. Lots of walking, rollerblading, and biking.

Oh yeah, get motorscooter back on the road too!

a 32" waistline?
I've never even gotten up to a 30" waistline in my life!!

and, since I've been dead for going on 12 years, even my death hasn't seen my waistline grow over 28"

have some meat on our bones! You sound like my best bud. He still weights 10 pounds less now than I did when I graduated 20 years ago! And no, I was not overweight back then. Just a wrestler, ya know?

28"? maybe 25 years ago!

I'm going to attempt

by maecuff In reply to resolutions

to not get so annoyed by the stupidity of others..especially every driver on the road who is not me.

I'm going to stop being suckered in my every 'anti-aging' remedy that comes along.

I'm going to stop letting my mother and mother in law get to me so much. Along those lines, I'm going to work very hard at not turning in to my mother.

I'm going to stop obsessing about my adult children. (I'll need a full frontal lobotomy to acheive this goal)

My New Years Resolution

by M_a_r_k In reply to I'm going to attempt

is to win the luge competition in the Winter Olympics. That looks like a helluva rush to fly through an icy ditch 100 miles per hour with nary a brake and nary a steering wheel. I could do without the dumb-looking skin-tight aerodynamically-inclined friction-free body suit though.

No problem

by Oz_Media In reply to My New Years Resolution

Just buy a new pair of socks and that suit will FIT just great!

I used to hate going on stage in the 80's when spandex was the rage, then leather came back in so I didn't mind so much.

2006 is the year I let my wife know who's boss

by DMambo In reply to resolutions

And after that when it's official, maybe she'll let me out of the house once in a while.

As a gesture of good will, she might even raise my allowance. I'd ask her, but I'm too frightened.

Wish me luck, I'll need it.

if you would embrace the Christmas in you, you would be able to stand up for yourself! It gives you the power to say, "I wanted to get you this really nice xxx, but I didn't have enough money!"

See, just be a man about it!
