Resolve IP to ALL domains registered

By Cactus Pete ·
As you know, one IP address can carry many domains on its back. How do I get a list of all possible domains registered to a single IP?

One IP address to all domains.

Max's product might do it - but I've asked them to provide me sith a sample before I spend the dough.

Try doing this: go to www.dnsstuff.com and use the IP WHOIS look up on that page. This will give you the registered owner of the domain that owns that IP. Then, you can look up that registered owner and find out what other domain names they own. You might have to look in a number of different places, depending on where they've registered, but at least it would get you started.

Hope this helps!

Just the basic Whois, I needed lots more than that. It apparently doesn't exist.

The registered owner of an IP, say, a hosting site, won't have nearly all of the domains under their name. But yes, it is a start.

Well, Max's software didn't pan out - it was just a whois lookup - the author admitted to that himself. He suggested I use nslookup. Very helpful.

I'll close this and get on with life...
