But there are no files in MS Office or Windows that can be overwritten and adversely affect the operation of the system I currently have a Windows XP Pro computer here running MS Office XP, Corel Office 12, Star Office, 602 Office, Open Office and a couple of other Office applications with out a problem of any kind as far as different programs interfering with other similar office applications or any other program. About the only possible problem experienced is that constantly changing between running applications does become a bit confusing as they all look and work slightly differently.

But as I have said previously if the Powers that Be want MS Office they will have to pay for it as they are the ones who have misplaced the original Cd's and the Product Licenses and as they will not be buying the necessary hardware they should be buying Retail Copies of the Product to keep in Line with the Licensing Agreement of MS. Of course if there are more than 5 copies involved they can always buy a Volume License copy which has 1 set of Cd's and several different Product Keys. But if all they are purchasing is MS Office as a Volume License I do not think that they are able to purchase Software Assurance for all MS Products which will provide new copies of the products for a 3 year period in every case where I have sold Software Assurance a Volume License of Windows has been involved.
