Screen Saver on Remote Desktop

By techrepublic ·
I know this is out of the norm but I need to see if there is a way to allow the screen saver to work on a remote desktop session. currently with rdp the screen goes blank when the screen saver activates. Is there a way to disable the blank screen and allow the screen saver to show?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry.. you can not change this on XP Pro remote. The reason it goes black is cause it assumes you are not ativley using the session and hence saves on Bandwidth. If it leaves the creen saver on the remote session on, it eats up bandwidth and (if you have one with your provider) you monthly bandwidth usage. So, in short this is a setting you c an not change.

You can change somethings you see by looking at the 'Experience' Tab under 'Options' for Remote Desktop..
