I have a small network running NT 4.0 sp4.
How do I set up my server to become a DHCP server and assign TCP/IP Address etc.? Thanks

Setting up DHCP Server

1st. before get this DHCP server install, you need to identify all the workstations' IP addresses and of course those devices that connected to the network with TCP/IP protocol running need to be defined as well.
2nd. now only you can start to install your DHCP server from Control Panel - Network applet. But do remember to reapply your NT service pack after the installation.
3rd. define your scope of the IP address range and exclude those IP addresses that you've got from the 1st. step.
4th.then you can add in more things like the '003 default gateway' and etc.
Let me know for any problems. Good luck.
