Somebody hacking into my network?

By n.venu ·
I have two scenarios.
1. I have a Windows 2003 domain with exch 2003.
My domain is I have registered and the web site is fine. My internal domain is connected to internet thro' DSL on a Win Xp SP1 PC say A (gets a dynamic public IP). The problem is as soon as I share my internet connection the OS crashes. However if I remove internet sharing it works fine even when connected to internet. I have installed kaspersky firewall also but the problem is not solved. ?

2. In the same network I have another PC say B which is connected to internet over PPPOE. This PC has 2 NICs one to internet and another to lan. Here again if I remove the eth. cable connected to lan (or I disable the local lan adapter) I can browse internet but once I connect the cable back internet becomes unavailable on PC B. PC B also has kaspersky firewall configured in training mode? I have got heavy usage bills from my ISP in both the cases.
Another thing is when I connect to my 2003 server by remote desktop I was getting windows 2000 logon screen. However once the internet connection was disconnected. This would disappear. I have not installed SP1 on Windows 2003 server. I believe somebody is hacking? Can any one help.
