Sony Laptop

By whiteym4 ·
I just had a sony Vaios restored buy Best Buy.
The warranty just expired. I have T.V on it ect.
When I got the laptop back, I am able to run the laptop on a solid surface, but when I roam with it on my lap I get a blue screen. Is there a chance that when they rebuilt the laptop that they didn't seat the hard drive fully?
Can I access the hard drive from the bottom of this system????

It is possible that something is loose. It could be a RAM module, or a connector on the hard drive. Both should be accessible.

However, it is also possible that you have an impending component failure that may have been the cause of why you had to have the system restored in the first place.

When you have it on your lap. are you blocking any of the vents?

Do your legs get warm?

Of course, it is also possible that your hard drive is near a full failure and shame on Best Buy for not recommending that you get a new hard drive.
