strange clients in windows DHCP

By asoko ·

I've launched duplicate (second) Windows Server 2003 R2 with domain controller, DNS, DHCP and WSUS functions and found out (after some time), that on the network appeared 2 client computers, which I can ping (though response times vary around 30ms). After little investigation i realized that those 2 clients aren't real. They reside on my Windows servers (one for each). They obtain IP addresses from DHCP servers -- client residing on server ONE obtained address from server TWO; and the client residing on server TWO obtained address from server ONE. It looks, that on both servers some services (virtual hosts??) are running, but they are using and responding to the IP addresses different from IP addresses of their servers. Maybe it's normal, but it looks very strange, at least to me... Any ideas what can it be? Is it normal? Thanks.
