system failure due to overclocking

I just installed some more ram the same as the 2gb as i have in now and my cpu does not even boot i just get a msg system failure due to overclocking but i never overcloked my cpu my temp on my chip reads 110 f never anywhere dangerous why am i getting that msg, my mob supports 4 gb ram i was adding the extra 2 to bring it to 4????????????
and i tried reseting my bios but it did not fix the problem!!!

Sounds a lot like Jarvis was installed in the Asus BIOS. Read about that in the trade journals.

Does it also give an audible beep?

got access to another PSU that has a bit of Wattage, say 550-600W or better.
