Tablet to PC via Broadband Router

I have a Lenovo that I have connected to my Wireless Router for Internet Access.
I also have a Samsung GT-6200 7.0 Tablet which has a short USB cable to connect to my Laptop via USB. However, I wish to use my tablet in my yard and not near the Laptop. So, I use the Wireless Broadband Link to the Router to connect the Tablet to my laptop and everything works great. How??

I used the KIES AIR DISCOVERY SERVICE.
1. I download KIES AIR on my Tablet from the Samsung store – its free.
2. I startup up KIES AIR on my tablet and it shows me an IP address.
3. I go to my laptop and enter that IP address in the address bar of my IE browser.
Bingo, I am now connected to my Tablet from the laptop.

Simple interface, easy to use. Thanks KIES people.
