TCP/IP is still a problem!

By joe.oconnor ·
I cannot seem to browse the internet when connecting to my ISP (using DUN!!!). I can "ping" the ISP's DNS servers AND my DHCP-assigned address, but no Web pages! I have un-installed and re-installed TCP/IP, replaced wsock32.dll and winsock.dll and remove and re-installed ALL networking. Still no luck! Can anyone help?

P.S. My PC is NOT connected to a LAN!

Thanks!

just follow the steps bellow :-

1.) check your Network Neighborhood property & u need only two things there, Dial up addeptor & tcp/ip for dua.

2.) go to your dial up connection's property & give the ip add. of your isp's DNS server in the primary ip of dns.

3.) if previousely connected to LAN & also using proxy server, then uninstalled the Proxy Client if installed.

4.) select use my default connection in the connection property of IE.

that's all.
now u can able to browse the net successfully.
