To Jason - you're full of it.....don't believe you for a minute....just how stupid do you think we IT professionals are?

really......is this for real or is it some kind of joke?

I have never seen the likes of this in my 35 years of IT employment.......I don't even know how to make a relation to the music industry that would be similar....intentionally selling scratched records so you can't listen to the song.....maybe close.....this just sucks beyond belief....that's what I do know.....along with anyone else that happens across this site.....I sure as heck would want to be reimbursed for any advertising money I spent to be on this totally embarrassing site....heads should roll.....starting with the person that thought it was a good idea to migrate to this mess.....next would be the people that didn't immediately roll it back when it was discovered what a disaster this new site was.

I'm just without words.....the update a few years ago managed to get rid of 75% of the members.....I guess they're looking to get rid of the rest of us.......makes no sense to me at all.

It looks like this site could be decent if you fix the problems

Certainly, it is better looking than the last upgrade. I know you have millions of users, but knowing that, why didn't you have a beta site set up until you worked out the bugs. All of us in the TR community would have gladly assisted and the conversations now would be a lot different than they are today.

I know you probably don't have as much control over changes now that TR is part of CBS Interactive, but in my opinion, there are some great people here that understand all the nuances of what this community is all about. Hasn't TR always touted their user community in the past? I think most of us would have helped work out the bugs in beta mode to assure a smoother transition.

What an absolute mess! Two weeks in and still absolutely, 100%, completely useless. I think if TR wants to promote this site as a resource for technical professionals, they should be using GoDaddy for a host and some WYSIWYG site building tools. TR has become a site full of half-wit editors and too many moderators, as opposed to techs. Maybe the 'site builders' need to post some questions in Q&A to see if someone can help them build a website too.
