Validating 200 excels and creating a new summary excel

Can any please let me know How can I validate 80 excels and create a summary report from them. My requorement is as follows

1.200 excels will contain same data and the data will be the 2007 year calender which will contain all the 12 months and the dates. If I mark a date with some "red" color in one date cell then I need to get "P" for the perticuler date in summary excel.

2. based on the color I need to get the value in the summary report.
3. Summary excel will contain a person name and and 1-30/31 days in one row. the person name can be taken as the input excel file name.
