    vcard services for XP

    Locked

    by whirl3d ·

    Hey there,
I have seen a control panel on a couple of computers called “card services” that enables the use of VCARD microformats in Windows. Is this an official MS Program or 3rd Party? Anybody know where it comes from or where I can get it?

Thanks in advance for your support,
    jase

The “Card Services” I am familiar with in the Control Panel is for PC cards, not vcards.

But a quick Google search for “Windows Cardspace” returned over 2.5 million hits.

Come on now. Gimme a break. Obviously I have exhausted my resources and turned to this forum in the hopes of being able to gain some personal perspective on other’s actual experience with the technology.

You might as well have asked if my computer was turned on.

Come to find out, Windows Carspace is the cornerstone of their new OpenID which is slowly gaining momentum (especially with Windows Live).

It has very little to do with VCARDs like I had originally hope.

Thanks for your reply, best wishes,
