Virtual PC setup for Training PCS

By damian_roche ·
What im looking for is to have around 15 pc's run one virtual image that i have created. I dont want to have to copy that image locally on each. When i try opening two sessions i get the following message .....

"the file ... cannot be accessed.
It may be in use by a running virtual machine, the virtual disk wizard, or you may not have the proper access privileges. Please select another file."

Another have any ideas please. Thanks in advance

Hi, maybe you would like to consider vmware server 2.0 where you can have http access to your image by several users. You can create a general user or one for each, or simply use your AD to manage the users.

This may required alot od memory for 15 users thought.

If not you can try the GXS server alot more light then 2.0

By design

I believe that this is by design. If you open one virtual machine instance the file gets locked. VMware server 2.0 may be a solution.
