Virus?

I have received great answred and help so I got another one Every day for last 3 weeks I been get2-3 a day virus warning from my internet carrier it alway from same person but with a differnt subject the post office at ev1 (my internet carrier) said it been catch and no damage done and I run a virus scan each day nonthing show up it the KLEX@MM one How can I stop getting 2-3 virus each day from this person ? Do they have the virus or is it useing a clean computer from a infection one I am in lot people addressed book I do lots of searching for Ancestrys Am I Infected and the scan not show it up? I have Panda virus procetion windows 98 and at time my compter go crazy all kinds thing pop up and the arrow on the mouse i want have contolled of it just going everywhere mostly it out site but all the pop up be comming up fast and I have turn my computer off without shut it down right I want have any controlle at all over my computer Thanks a lots BJ

Also, get the patch from Microsoft that addresses the vulnerability in IE that lets a PC spread Klez. You can find it at Windows Update on the web.

The vulnerability was fixed with IE 5.5 so you could just update your browser. Previous versionsare still suceptible to Klez, tho. Sounds like you might not have the virus, but you're continually getting it from somewhere.

I'm not saying that getting the update will keep you from getting infected attachments from other people, but it will keep your PC from getting and passing the infection.

Have you deleted all of your Temporary Internet files yet? There are probably infected files still in your cache.

And did the virus disable your period key? Kinda hard to follow what you're saying without those stragetically placed dots in there...

Download the klez@mm worm removal tool from the http://securityresponse.symantec.com. Boot your computer in the "safe mode", and then run the klez@mm removal exe file. The worm will definitely be removed. I have tried this option on number of computer systems, and it has 100% successful result.
