I am working in Iraq and recently purchased a new Toshiba from the Army base near by. It is running with Vista premium but only came with Office 2007 Home and Student which doesn't have Outlook. Being in a bind for this program, I went to the Microsoft Download Site and chose to download the 60 day Trial version of Office 2007 Standard Edition. I have did this twice, both times it took about an hour, in the middle of the night (our connection isn't the greatest and the other guys don't appreciate you hogging the band-with during the day). After the download is complete and the download box dis-appears, there is no sign of it on my computer. I have experienced the same issue with Yahoo messenger Installs but do not think the problems are related due to the fact that the Messenger issue affects my other laptop that is running XP Pro, but I can download other programs. I tried installing Outlook 2003 two different times, but had to un-install because it just wouldn't work. i could read mail, but could not reply ao add contacts. Any help?

Don't use Office 2007

I suggest you forget Office 2007 and Outlook and download OpenOffice and Mozilla Thunderbird instead.

Microsoft Exchange Server

My company email utilizes the Microsoft Exchange Server, not a POP or IMAP incoming server. Mozilla Thunderbird will not work with it. Thanks for the info though.
