      comes with a license to downgrade/install XP Pro… So Dell, is just kinda claiming it as their own idea, and trying to pull a quick one on the general public… At least thats the way it appears to me.

      marketing ploy designed to sell PC’s. They are not telling people that they stopped selling Vista.

      As frequently used on the front pages of tabloid (and sometimes broadsheet) newspapers.

      Catchy headlines tend to sell newspapers, even when after reading the boxy copy, you realise that the headlines were misleading.

      Nevertheless it attracts your attention and DELL attracted your attention.

          They found a loophole in their contract with Microsoft. You get windows XP with a vista license on the box. Usually comes with both recovery CD’s
