Windows 98 Logon Issue

By J9 ·
I am working on a system running Windows 98. The problem is that it is not prompting the user for login during boot up. It seems to be loading a default profile of sorts. From the start bar he can "Log Off" and then "Log On" but it is a nuisance.

The "Log Off" is not indicating whom is logged in. The network properties are set as such so that Windows is the default log in.

If anyone knows of the fix for this, please advise.

Answer No.3 sounds likely. Lots of OEM machines come with that setting in the registry. just search for autolog and you'll find it.
