Windows minimizing automatically

By kbrown ·
Good afternoon. I have a user within our corporate network whose windows automatically minimize when there is no mouse/keyboard activity. This just started happening since our conversion to Office 2007 (remaining on XP). I have never heard of this and is there a setting somewhere that I can check?

... the keyboard and/or mouse. It's entirely possible either is streaming garbage. If they're wireless, try changing batteries.

If that doesn't fix it, look at interferance, especially near cables.

Does this happen for the window of any app or just Office apps? I'd check to see if there are any new programs running in the background and disabling them to isolate the issue.

Applications Minimizing.

I had the user watch this for half a day. It appears to happen to Office applications only. Any ideas?

The user was using a screensaver set to run after 20 minutes. I had him change the time to 10 minutes and voila! Problem solved.
