Wireless Network

By shafeeque ·
I would like a setup wireless network in my office. Around 10-12 AP to be used in the network. What is the best way to implement it. I need to manage the encryption procedure centrally. Can i use network controller for this purpose. If yes, what is the controller which can manage 12-15 AP's.

Thanks n advance

Cisco, Aerohive, Aruba, Extreme, Motorola

Cisco is most expensive, but if you are a Cisco shop, it will play well with other Cisco stuff.

Aerohive is very low cost and works well. (Aerohive founder sold his prior WLAN company to Cisco and founded Aerohive)

I have worked personally with Cisco, Aerohive, Motorola (when it was Symbol).

Any of these solutions will scale to hundreds of APs.

Open-Mesh might work for you also

You would have to verify the devices support the configuration you are looking for, but a cloud based controller is sweet. And you can manage from a mobile device. I have not looked at the cost of the hardware in a while so YMMV.
