CD write protection

I need to unprotect this DVD+r (not dvd+rw)
i tryed registery and DISKPART but it didnt work

I need help PLEASE

I'll avoid duplication on this topic from the web.

But the usual fix is to duplicate the contents to some folder on the HDD or SSD, make your changes and then write a new CD.

CD-R, DVD+R and DVD-R is write once and once a session is closed, you can't re-open it.

Remember I'm shortchanging you here as there are tens of thousands or prior discussions on this.

dang it, aIs0 my dvd-rw's cant be written to even though they are not write protected

For DVD-RW you use an app.

I would never count on Windows File Explorer to do this job.

We have CDBURNERXP (runs on Windows 10) and ImgBurn. Tutorials on working with optical media are plentiful for these apps so I'll stop here.

oh it appers the disk im trying to write/format is acctuly DVD-R im screwed
