Windows

Question

Google Photos

By zlzpqx ·
I have Google Photos installed in my Android. It appears that it got automatically installed on my PC (Windows 10), for I am able to access it in my PC. But the name Google Photos does not show up in either my Windows App list or Programs list in my PC's Control Panel. I am curious why it does not.

Also, is there any way I can get Google Photos (and Amazon Photos too) listed in my "This PC" list the way I see the name of "One Drive" in that list? What is different about One Drive that its name has readily appeared in the "This PC" list?

-------------------

As a different question, the facilities provided for modifying pictures stored in Google Photos are somehow not identical when I access my photos in Google Photos in my Android versus my PC. I am very curious as to how they are a little different from each other.

Thank you.

The reason for the options for photos being different....

Remember that most desktop computers or laptops use Microsoft Windows and the phone's OS, as you referred to, is likely Android (Google). Not the same thing.
