Question

Outlook Tasks export to a web based collaboration tool possible?

By ITSKLTD ·
I have a client with 11,000 tasks in Outlook that is sharing them with approx 10 users to delegate tasks

This is proving unreliable so I wanted to get them into using Planner in 365 but from what Ive read its still not possible 2 years after Microsoft announced it was going to be able to do so

The client wont have time to create the Tasks again so I was wondering if there is any web based collaboration tools out there that can import Tasks in Outlook?

Use the Planner API to add tasks to Planner. See https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/api/resources/planner-overview?view=graph-rest-1.0

The developer hired or tasked to making this conversion program will be able to tell you if he can read the Outlook data directly via some Outlook API, or needs to make some export first. That might depend also on what (version of) Outlook is being used.

It seems an interesting project. I don't expect it to be cheap, but probably it's cheaper than entering them manually.
