  Will open source software work the same as EXCEL in building reports, I am trying to teach some men how to build some reports.

    It’s also known as OO.o.

    OO.o is a great replacement for Microsoft Office.

    OO.o is great for people who don’t need a full blown office suite (99% of the world).

    And could be an awesome teaching tool.

    However, just keep in mind that while OO.o is very compatible with Excel, the areas it is least compatible is charts, graphs, macros, and VBA.

    Just something that may or may not affect you but to think about.
