Laptop Suggestion for CS Student

By 4m4nsingh ·
Hey Guys,

I'm Aman and I'm new to this group. I'm looking for a laptop suggestion for a CS student. I basically need a laptop for coding works.

Can you please recommend to me which one is good? I'm thinking to switch to MacBook but can you let me know if MacBook is a good option?

Nowadays, coding is more than using a text editor. If your CS courses require you to use, for example, Microsoft Visual Studio, you might prefer a Windows PC.

What does the university recommend for your study?

What is your budget ? What applications will you be using ? How much memory do you need ? I am assuming your are either in college or a technical school. If so, they should be able to give you suggested minimum standards and you can select from there. Unfortunately, you haven't provided enough information yet.

As a CS student, there are alot of laptops that you can buy and that completely depends on you.

If you don’t have any problem in spending a lot of money, just buy a good laptop with 8/16 GB ram, i5 or i7.Its also best for coding too.for more
