By jett69 ·
Our current help desk software, DK is no longer being supported. I need to recommend ten Help Desk software to my director. Our budget is about $300k. Any info of top 10 helpdesk links or recommendation would be very helpful.

Thank you.

Service Request/Ticketing software?

by burtonizer In reply to Which Help Desk Software

If you are looking for service request and/or ticketing software, we utilize Heat and it seems to work out nicely for our company (700 employees, 70+ offices in 3 states). New staff pick up using the program quickly, there are customizable fields and it's pretty robust.

I've been through that process of evaluating various vendors products, including some of those others have mentioned. I'd suggest a look at HelpStar ( I've been using this now for about 4 months and it's a really good product without a heafty price tag.

Cloud SaaS edition

by Jake Bigley In reply to Which Help Desk Software

We use cross continental support, live chat, email ticketing and social media integration. It was very easy to deploy because we opted for the Cloud SaaS edition. Definitely worth a glance if anyone is looking for a solid email ticketing system that is still easy to use.

spiceworks is good, free and works for most people.
Intuit trackit was good also, not sure if its as robust as what you would need though.
