Bio: I'm working as a quality analyst for a web application. Recently, I lead the testing team through a redesign of the code and architecture behind our web site. Our efforts had a major impact on the process and the final quality of the site, and won a \"place at the table\" for QA efforts within the company's software development realm. \ \ I'm QAI-certified (CSQA, CSTE) and am working on an ASQ certification also, looking toward extending the quality focus beyond software in some way. I've been a quality (software) consultant, and while most of that tends toward planning and managing the quality of software, a large chunk really involves the underlying factors -- team leadership, effective communication, vision, focus on goals, commitment to stay aligned with both project and corporate goals, and how to manage time and resources.
