Bio: US Navy (1969-1997) Vietnam (1969-1971) & Desert Shield/Storm. I've worked for the Major Companies (Telex, Memorex-Telex, Texaco, IBM, HP, etc.) Worked in Mainframes (Before PC's), 3270, and PC's & Servers. Haven't found a system yet that scares me. Fluent in CP/M, IBM DOS & MS-DOS - 6.6, MS-Windows through WinXP & Vista, Novell, Windows Server NT-2003, and yes Linux too. I've programmed, and supported programmers and Database folks. You have a question I'll answer it, and try to do so without making you feel badly for asking it. If I don't know the answer I'll find out and get back to you. If I see a need that needs to be filled - I'll at least attempt it without the attitude - It Aint My Job or I'm not getting paid to do that. Team Success is where its at. I chose to get my degree in CIS vs Certifications, through the day I am too busy and don't have time to study for Certs, too busy doing it, and although a good guage of a person's knowledge, for me experience is better.
