Bio: I go back as far as using keypunch cards and Sperry dummy terminals and using Z-100s and Z-248s. I became expert in the Condor 3 database and was sought out to fix computer problems. My work in DOS enabled me to receive CLEP credits for Basic Programming. \ \ I then moved on to managing a Novell 3.X LAN and MS-Mail Server with about 50 computers and 75 people. I migrated from Windows 3.11 to 95. My users had macro viruses before we had software, so I protected users by write protecting NORMAL.DOT. I remember the public release of 40-bit cipher strength for internet browsers which had been restricted for use by US government agencies like NSA. \ \ After this I worked as a PC/LAN Tech on an NT 4 network supporting 200 computers & users for 4 years. \ \ Moving from there, I designed, setup and managed a Win2000 network with 40+ desktops, Compaq Raid-5 server, Cisco router and 3Com switches. \ \ After this I went on to a lead help desk position supporting 350 computers and 110 printers & plotters and I migrated all our computers from Win 95, 98 & NT to 2000. \ \ I managed several servers and a 100+ computers running mostly Win 2000 as an IT consultant. \ \ I presently work for the government managing all IT services and teach computer classes at the local community college.
