Bio: I began with Internet support for MCI, how to install Internet Explorer and troubleshoot basic errors. At the time users could not select their password, it was a 24 character encrypted password designed to be saved by Windows. Typical with Microsoft, the settings didn't always work as planned. Most of my time was spent finding the backup copy in the installation folder, re-enabling storing of passwords in the dial up connection (pre-DSL days) and basic issues with IE--how to turn parental control on, off, clear files, etc. I then worked for an insurance company for 10 years, walking agents through rating policies, uploading applications, endorsements and payments. I now work for a small business providing PC support--dealing with how to fix Windows issues, printers and peripherals and basically getting things done.
