pyropakjim's Profile
Involved with computing since learning some FORTRAN in 1974. Have had additional FORTRAN and COBOL training and experience over the years, plus self-taught BASIC. From programmable calculators to Radio Shack's Color Computer, and mini-systems to mainframes and networks, I have worked in a variety of areas and industries, including the space shuttle program. My tenure has allowed me to experience migration from single PC to network, mini-system to mainframe, and mainframe to network. I have also been involved in accounting functions at various companies. With PCs also as a hobby, I have learned a great deal from the days of MS-DOS through Windows Vista, and continue to do so.
